You can completely mod you xbox without even chipping it, but its not really a softmod as you have to take your xbox apart.

I've decided to shell out da cash and get a Chip and a new hard drive... Does anyone have any suggestions on a good chip and a nice HD that aren't too expensive but aren't shit?

I have the xecutor 2.6 I think it's called. Does everything I need. Basically which is copy games to the hdd and play em. Having roms on there is nice too

no shit seeming as they load about 50 times faster than a DVD......

sounds interesting. i would like to DL all my movies and games onto the HD and just play like that.
