I was at google and I stumbled upon this site that talked about Square, their split with the big N (Nintendo), and some insider stuff with their games. I thought it was some cool info, kinda usless but cool.

wow that is a great find dude!

i was really interested in the whole part about why they [transfered from nintendo to sony instead of] sega saturn. If things had been different, we'd all be playing Dreamcast 2 right now, and probably be enjoying games a hell of a lot more

I always wondered what happend with Square and Nintendo even though I kinda figured that is what happend.

Nintendo should of made them an in-house developer on the spot (during FF3/6). I mean that pokemon money could of bought any company.


After thinking it through. I'm glad Nintendo and Square had a falling out. FF7 and FF8 are great games on the PSone. The N64 would of limited Square at the time.

I agree that Square did the right thing.

Any FF game would have sucked for the 64 compared the PS ones.
