I thought that FF 4 and FF2 were the same game, tbh all I want 'em to do is release FF 6 on GBA cos that's the best out of the entire series in my opinion (the PSX remake kicked arse too cos it had FMVs and stuff). Does anyone know if it's true or just a romour that Square are remaking FF 7 on PSP?

FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus Beta Delayed

Update by: Sepho. Thursday September 1st, 2005 at 10:58 am.

Despite already having shipped beta testing kits for Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, Square Enix sent out a press release today which states that the beta previously scheduled to start tomorrow will be delayed. No new start date was officially set, leaving gamers to wonder what kind of effect this new development will have on the game's release date.

Square Enix cites "...final last minute tuning that we've decided needs to be done" as the motive behind their decision for the beta's postponement. Let's hope that these issues are resolved soon.

This is going to be a follow up game comming out on the PS2 for advent children. Also noone should be suprised when an Final Fantasy remake appears on the playstation 3. The "tech demo" that squareenix showed is there little way of testing the waters more then likely. Plus it'll sell like hot cakes, since it techinacly did make RPG gaming more wide spread in the US. I just hope they put in the stuff they edit from the americian release, and clean up the grammer/language.
