I have been watching the psp lately to see where it might be going. This months EGM talks about it and from what I read, it should blow gameboy a new ass. It can read jpg, mpeg4, and mp3. The mag also states that you can gop to google and if you search for "PSPhoto PSP" you can d/l a program that lets you drag and drop pics onto your psp and will even view them in zip format.

You know what I think?
I think we will be seeing a camera attachment shortly.
I just hope it takes decent quality pictures for $250 and whatever the cam will cost .

EGM also did a servey on PSP and DS. Needless to say DS lost but for $250 it damn well better beat nintendo.

The PSP also comes with a 32mb m.card. You can buy bigger ones like 1gig or 2gigs if you're loaded. That's alot of space but I would REEEEAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYY like to see a snes emulater for the psp.
(Like I haven't beat'n FF3 and Super Metroid enough -_-; )

I played the DS at the mall and I was stunned by the games.

That would be a very sweet idea, almost would make me want to get one

Think about it though.
It could support that kind of media right?
I don't know much about PC specs but if the available colors on-screen are 16,800,000 then that's go to mean something right?
I guess it's too soon for that kind of stuff yet.
I'll wait about six more months and look into it.

It all depends how smart sony have been with it, if they have totally gone anti piracy on it, it will be hard to get anything onto it.

On the other hand it could just be like an xbox, and be very easy to crack.

I thought playing snes on my xbox was cool, but psp, that really would be something.

i saw a psp screenshot thing. its amazingly terrible looking. it looks to be a mix between and n64 and a dreamcast, only shittier. though i'm probably wrong. SNES had better 3d graphics.

But I don't give a shit when it costs twice as much as an xbox . I don't have that kinda money!

I went and got one of the psp's.. ^^ Didnt cost me $250 i got it free along with a 512 duo chip and 2 games.. Ridge racer and Wipeout... Also got an hp 4.1 mp camera with 128mb... How did i get all this free? Well... i went and gambled on blackjack and won money so i see it as free ^^ I found a way to store tons of anime at least 10 eps of any anime on the 512 memory.. ^^ Its great

They are selling some DVD movies as UMDs now. Niether handheld system is my bag of tea.

Besides (some ok) games, I'm seeing the PSP as the PornStationPortable.
