I was hang'n out at one of my other forums when someone released a this hack.
This game is NOT like the other hacks where sonic was replaced with shadow or mighty.
Nonono...It has ALL 3! (We have Nada3...hee)
Now keep in mind this hack is an incomplete and you may encounter bugs.
When it gets another update I'll edit it in here :)
Oh and befor you ask...This is VERY much worth your time!!!!!!!

Here is his offcial post as of 7/1/06

This will be the official update thread for my hack. No release yet, but I have pics.

EDIT: Download now availiable at bottom of post.

Sonic 2 Options screen in Sonic 1, edited for my hack. Thank Stealth for that one.

Mighty in GHZ.

Shadow in SLZ. Enough angst for you? =P

Yes this is omfg perfect spindash in S1, dust and all. Thank Stealth again for that one.

Enemies spawn rings when destroyed (Note the custom life icon and monitors =P)

Milisecond (Or Centisecond, but whatever) counter in action.

Title screen.

Not sure if this one is in the patch but it will be in there eventually and I'm told it will react just like CD.
Thanks Cinossu (Hapi-San)

Features as of now include:

- Seperate music for each act

- S2 level select and options menus edited to fit with my hack (Stealth)

- Perfect Spindash for each character (Stealth)

- 3 Characters: Sonic, Mighty and Shadow -- Each later to have thier own special move and physics stats. Thanks to Yuski for Mighty sprites and JohnnyUK for Shadow sprites.

- Sonic 2 running physics -- Run down a slope in SLZ and you'll go as fast as you do in CPZ. AKA slope related acceleration. (Stealth)

- Double Jump fixed for Shadow; Jump Dash added for Sonic

- Issue of life icons not loading while starting a game from the options screen fixed -- you'll like the new system better. =P

Discuss. I'd also like to note that each charater has seperate life icons now preceeding these shots, and each level has a new palette (not shown).

Some highlights from version 3.0:

- All level layouts edited (some complete; others pending)
- Each character now has a unique set of moves (though Sonic and Shadow share homing attack)
- Most levels (not all) have a small intro, ala S3K, where they perform some sort of action when starting the level. i.e, running in from the left.
- Shitload of music edits
- There is now a "preferences" screen, where you can customize certain aspects of the game (suggestions are welcome)
- Cheat codes have been changed - figuring them out will grant you access to a new, special level select (which is a bit buggy - just don't hit left/right on zone selections =P)
- "Original Mode" allows you to play the original levels from Sonic the Hedgehog, using all of the additions from Sonic Megamix (such as bugfixes, moves, preferences, etc). There is also a seperate save slot for a character's original mode.
- Title screen demos have been edited. Credits demos have not.
- Super forms have been added.
- Elemental shields, ala S3K, have been added.
- Credits have been edited; each character has a unique end pose on the ending sequence.
- Various other changes. See the Wiki page for more info.

This is, pending future changes, considered a "complete" release. Future changes are planned, but not assured. More information can be found on the Manual/Wiki page, located here: http://info.sonicretro.org/Sonic_1_Megamix

DOWNLOAD IT HERE!

Although it's not the final version I'm sure that when the final version is released, it won't be much different from what it is now.

But all-in-all, it's had a complete overhaul.
You can even choose to play the orginal sonic with all the extras.
It's hard.
It's got saves.
It's got super forms.
It's fun.
It's keeps your attention a WHOOOOLE lot longer than most hacks
and It's hard.

If you do not try this at least once then you are an R-TARD!

PLAY THIS HACK OR BILL GATES WILL PERSONALLY COME TO YOUR HOUSE, KICK YOU IN THE NADS, STEAL THIS SITE, AND CALL IT MICROSOFT!

What? What? Yeah...I went there. What ya gunna do? What ya gunna do?
