I cant build anything or paint or do any of the build tools......apparently the crack blocks this but if i unintall it and then reinstall it without the crack them im gonna have to keep swapping CDs and its gonna really piss me off!

You have the old crack for it that they released first... it doesn't work properly. You need the new one that fixes the build issues. That's about all I can tell you.
