So I bought this Saturn off a police repo website about a year ago. It shipped to me apparently "working and ran game" however when I got it, all it did was attempt to boot and not work. It would just try to read the disc over and over. Naturally, I got drunk and forgot about it.

A year later I'm still puzzled. I adjusted the lens intensity, and it didn't really help. I even bought some brand new factory sealed games. Alien Trilogy and some other one..

Anyone know about fixing the reading component or even a replacement?

Any help or racial comments welcome! (I am Jewish)

Might have been dropped on the way to your house. I drop crap at work all the time and it usually never looks damaged as long as it's not that heavy. Game systems have a bad habit of not working after be'n droped from a high enough distance.

Put a quarter in the slot if you can part with one.

I dropped my Wii-mote and like its wasn't working at all (Cursor flying all over the place)

Needless to say I freaked out! Then It turned out to be interference.... lucky me.

But i digress... Your Saturn is dead.

I don't have a clue of how you can fix it...

so.... do as you will.

well thanks anyways. i'm gonna see what i can work out of eBay and a few other places.

i'm assuming it was dropped. and any saturn emu sucks ass. but they do boot up my games. but they still suck ass.
