I grew up with a Genesis and an NES only and I got to say The genesis was thed shit back in the day.
It didn't have anything on the SNES though.

I like play'n the old sonic games.
I finally got to play sonic andventure and it's not bad but it's doesn't have that some adventure quality as the genesis one.
The game is all speed. Toejam and Earl was funny and I think Landstalker should have been the next Zelda.

Nights and BUG were fun games but I never got to enjoy it cuz I never had a Saturn.

Saturn could've been great, except it was ahead of his time. We just weren't ready for the CD. . .

No it's because FF7 came out that year and we creamed our pants for a copy.

That and saturns price tag at release/2 years. My only regreat was never taking my mom's offer seriously enough when she agreed to buy me one for christmas one day if I got my grades up the year Knights was released. I could be playing shining force 3 goddamnit. Thought from what i've read they've ruined it since the genesis days

Yep. Theres going to be two versions at release. The Core, which is retailing at a suggested price of 399. Comes with 20 gig hd, wireless controller, headset, and remote. While another version is comming out at 299, with an wiredcontroller, no HD, no extras. Also theres a 699 one on EB games that you can buy that comes with HD, a few games, two wireless controlers, remote, headset, and faceplates. Least I think it 699.
