Oh my fucking gods! I never realized how cheap japanese things are! 1,500 yen is about $13.50! (or about 7.5 pounds) That is super cheap! I'm definately learning Japanese and moving there when I get older!

EDIT: Oops... nevermind.. I was looking at the price for the stand... :( But aren't the consoles pretty cheap anyway?

I wonder if the slim version has any upgrades (it should if not). I mean remember how the old PSones had an overheating problem (my PS2 has a definite problem playing DVDs, it just freezes. I got a DVD player, but hey I'd be nice to have two). And that damn clicker thing (on the PS2) that you gotta rotate in order for certain formats to operate well (after a dropped system or just lots of use) , should be melted down and reworked into a better or more stable adjustment.

If I heard right didn't the newer Xbox's get a faster DVD drive? That'd be a nice addition too (after all the fucking thing is the same price as it's overwieght brother, the smaller and cheaper manufacture price can go towards that).

One more thing would the HD drive have to be an external one (it looks like a pretty tight fit). As far as emulation goes the I wonder if they got a different bios on that sucker.

Well anyway, I'd probably pick one up if my own failed.
