I know how most all of us were complainin about wind waker's cell shading and kid look. Well guess what, the new zelda for gcn is gonna have REAL graphics and a more mature look, link's gonna be a REAL boy again.

I have mixed feelings about this new zelda coming out, it looks great, and I must admit I shit my self watching the trailer posted over the web. And along with the new Tales game. I'm going to do my damnest to buy it.

However I'm one of the few who think the cell shading looked rather nice, though washed out sometimes. The graphics seemed to suit the story quite well. Also believe it or not, cell shading is by no means easier, like most people seem to believe .

My only major compliant with wind waker. Like every other Gamecube game. They tried forcing that damn connectivety crap down my throat. I felt quite urked at the little ploy they put in the game, on tinks(that rather gay looking fairy who can read maps) island. When you talked to the other two faire things, they basicly say "Go out and buy one" telling them to go to yeah parents to do so. It also crippled the game if you didn't have an GBA. An much needed map could of been used on screen(it would of saved having to hit start to bring up that chart), they instead opted to have the GBA function in that area. Also one of the side quests required it(maybe mistaken).

but c'mon, it connects. The elctrons flowing from your gameboy to your gamecube, doesn't it excite you? Don't feel exstatic when seeing the information for the gamecube game clearly displayed on your tiny gameboy screen. Why, it's enough to base an entire system's product line on.

i liked the cell shading (nearly copmpleted the game 3 times now ) it is kinda gay that the next one is gonna be back like ocarina of time and majoras mask. but IF you buy a GBA you can have the next game with cell shading, can someone post a piccy of the next one if there are any please!

i've only ever played the ones on Nintendo, SNES, and Nintendo 64. Never played Wind Waker.

wind waker is fun but way too easy!!!! forget the picture i found them. theyre much too realistic, i really like the cel-shading, like wen ikle link runs into a redead and he jumps and goes "argh!" and looks like hes shitting himself.................aw! :wub:

I dunno. I don't HATE cell shading, but it kinda pisses me off too (especially when we all got to see the E3 shots w/those awesome Zelda-based trailers of the GC's graphic technology).

Anyway, the new Zelda game will definitely be in my GC (maybe not when it comes out, but eventually).

And yeah, the horseback battle made me shit my pants and vomit at the same time too. I really would like to see it in action.

lol thanks for that image..... lol I didn't like Wind Waker cos my first Zelda was Ocarina Of Time, followed by Link's Awakening, then Zelda Majora's Mask and then I emulated the others...... still got to buy a GBA though... really want A Link To The Past properly

My only complaint. I bought my cube in march, totally missing that zelda give away, so my knowledge of zelda lore is iffy, though from what i've gathered they've changed the plot so many times it doesn't reallly matter. ( Also, this gay shit in wind waker ^<> and having to watch the same cut sence a billion fucking times from the result of doing ^<>. It just about made me smash my TV.

lmao Wind Waker has stupidly boring parts cos there were meant to be two more dungeons but they ran uot of time so had to be axed..... and btw if u want the zelda bonus disk it's like &#036;5 or less on E-Bay

Those asses should of added the dungoens then. I mean. Fuck, that really gay ass side quest where you ahd to plant an gardan all over the world with flower pots. Though the brain tezers in the private island thing where great. I wasted 2 hours on that one.
As for the ebay thing. I'll look into it thx for heads up. Though I doubts they'll COD it. Got not credit card at the moment.

ive only not got like 2 of the puzzles on windwanker. but the sailing around getting every treasure chart is a bore. i know what you mean its short though ive just done the pearl dungeons and the god temple in less than 2hrs and now therte only earth/wind temple to go (apart for the last dungeon but itys hardly a challenge is it????!!!) the only thing left are the stupid sail around for an hour looking for litttle hbits of the triforce and minquests like the ice and fire bits. its got quite kewl quests for heart pieces though, like take photographs and watnot! i still like it but its needs to be longewr definately!

the reason WW has all the shitty side quests and stuff was cos they had to finnish it quickly to release it on time... that meant cutting out two more dungeons and adding that shitty searching of the sea for the triforce chards.... that's what I thought ruined the game cos it was well boring and repetative.... if u like games where most of the adventure takes place in levels go for Ocarina of time.... there's 8 dungeons and it get's harder as it goes on.... it's proper class......

I saw pictures of it and I'm impressed.
It looks awhole lot better than the Wind Waker.
I can't wait untill more is releaased about it!

I think it's comming out the same time as RE4, and like Capcom Nintendo are fags when it comes to telling people anything about the games until the games either come out or are about to come out..... anyway am I the only one who thinks they should remake every Zelda to look as good as the new one.....
