A French copy of Halo 2 has leaked out onto the internet! Several of my friends with fast internet connections have it... I don't...
What do you think?

I'm half-way through my Halo:Combat Evolved PC game. So I'm looking forward to the rip (or the english Halo 2).

It's a great way to stick it to MS though. I'd would want the US version in the end.

well i already have it pre-ordered for xbox, but when i heard about the leak a couple of weeks ago and saw it on newsgroups, i said all the more power too ya. But as far as i can tell its not exactly easy to find a leaked copy that remains up for long. unless you know someone who has it already.

its not that hard though torrent sites acutly. but I really dont care, because i didnt like the first halo any ways.

yeah, saw it on torrent. i'm not gonna get it though.

can't we all just play the fucking game when it comes out? I like a complete, un-spoiled, experience more than a half-assed cheapo crappy one.

mmm no. I'd rather not put money in the hands of microsoft and pirate the game, so if I can get it befor its out (even if it is in french) than thats what I would go with.

you guys are weeks behind on this...

I dont really care that it was leaked, but I downloaded it anyway. If a game is leaked then I always download it, that is if I actually want to play it.

Yeah its in french but Ive still played the game about a quarter of the way through, and when it comes out on november the 9th, Ill download the NTSC version and play it again

Microsoft is fucking losing money on xbox, so they deserve some props for goin and stickin with it.

Like it or not, your money goes to huge corporations every fucking day, and most of em are 1,000 times worse than micrsoft. Have you ever been in a wal-mart, best buy, target? OMG, you you're supporting the coroporations! Have you ever spent any money on anything, EVER? OMG h34r: what have you done? Even with all that, if I had my choice I'd support microsoft sooner than say...sony. Possibly nintedo first if I actually liked their new equipment. Why? Sony has some of the worst customer service in the world, and it's fucking retarded. but you know what? Well basically it came from news, It was DVD5+ so I got this program that reduces it so it will fit on a normal sized DVD, I then burnt it, and then used PxHDD to stick it on my hard drive.

Ive got an Xecuter 2.0 chip in the box.

Does that answer your question? Or did I just totally get the wrong end of the stick? :S

Nice, It being in your native PAL format probably didn't hurt any either.

One question. Have you ever played a NTSC game on your modded Xbox and if so does it play as it would in PAL or does it work like normal (or does it depend on the TV, not the game)?

does anyone know if it's gonna be out omn PC or will I have to splash out on an X-Box.... I will but if I can get it on PC I'd rather not have to buy an X-Box....

also I wouldn't d/load a copy of HALO2 cos I'd actually like to play the multiplayer online that would also be the reason I wouldn't chip the damn thing, anyone from the UK know if Wanadoo is compatible with X-Box Live???

Yeah most of my games are NTSC, some are PAL though.

Generally it doesnt make any difference, my tv supports 60hz and therefore can display
PAL and NTSC, but most games are 60hz now anyway.

Only problem I ever had was with a game called NBA Ballers, it came up in black and white when I tried to play it. I then found this crazy program that allowed me to change the EEProm setting for the xbox from PAL to NTSC, that fixed it.

it probably will come out sooner or later for PC, but it hasnt been announced yet, and ign doesnt have it set for a release date. so probably atelast a year and a half from now.
