first of all, to answer whoever asked it earlyer, i at least have read (and own) all 3 halo books. and although the 1st and 3rd are great, the second one is crap.
also, although i haven't played most of these games, its my feeling that the old "basic" games like wolfenstien 3d and doom would make excellent movies, simply because they're starting off as a clean slate. if i remember right, they just give ya the 2-3 paragraph thing that sets up the story, and its all missions from there on out.
of course, its good to have some continuality (is that a word?) because if you go off and change everything like in wing commander, people will just think you're on crack. SECOND WORST MOVIE ADAPTION OF ALL TIME :angry: . the first is "starship troopers", don't even try to say its cool until you read the book.
warcraft or starcraft could also make good movies.
