I watched Mr. Show on TBS tonight just expecting it was going to be really watered down (not even close to the HBO originals).

Lol, the show has said shit twice and pussy inspector (just now).

I've seen the South Park episode where the say shit over a hundred times (when I had Comedy Central), but for TBS to air it, is pretty refreshing (and quite funny).

I heard something about the US allowing certain content befor 6AM and after 12PM.

I say fuck and similar words more times in a day then I could count or care for. But, seeing it on a pussy Friends and Sienfeld all day network kinda surprised me.

lol.

I think tv laws are more relaxed over here, probably cos there is no actual law.

I was watching UK TRL the other day and this comedian just said shit randomly, also the other week this dude said bell end, which technically isnt a swear word but it might as well be.

The basic ruling over here is that pretty much anything can be said/shown (apart from hardcore porn/violence) after 9pm, its known as the 'watershed'. Its basically down to the channels disgression.

I hate these damn censorship laws here in America. I think some standard of decency is needed, but this is just neo-nazi what the networks are doing these days.

The US has a stupid system of using (so called) bad words as and adjective as kind of ok. As in "I was walking up the street and found a fucking awesome dog" and "I found a dog and fucked it", the second being wrong for the reason that it described a sex act.

Some show's can be more funny using cuss words (like comedy). But, Bob Barker saying "Spin the fucking wheel, you stupid bitch". Wouldn't really help that show any...it'd be cool though.
