Favorite Shows - Angel Roswell Smallville
Anywho, Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, aquateen, sealab and whatnot would be in there except that I wouldn't consider them real tv shows as much as just entertainment...I like 1 real hour stuff. Not that I don't absolutely love those cartoons, they just don't fit into the same league as other stuff...cause they're vastly different.
And so on, my useless jarble on some other shows people mentioned -
Stargate SG-1 - way back when I watched it when I was bored. It was ok, but I admit it has become much more exceptional as it's steady storylines and capacity to accept new viewership has allowed it to stay on the air for a helluva long time. It's, as far as I've seen, aged very well.
Farscape - I started watchin it when it first started and liked it, but I apparently lost what the hell day it was and any other time I tried watching it it was like the entire universe had changed every 5 episodes. I understand greatly why this show was cancelled, not because it wasn't good, but because unless you saw every episode it's very confusing and it wasn't a show that people could start watching very easily if not from the beginning.
Firefly - I've heard this show was awsome and cancelled well before it's time, but as it was only on for such a short time I never even got to see more than like 2 minutes of it. It looks and sounds good, but my only trepidation is buffy the vampire slayer, as I was never a fan of that show, but of course there's also angel, the show I loved. So I'd guess that this show created after buffy like angel was probably pretty good and well-thought, especially since it's getting a movie.
Nip/Tuck - As the critics say it's a scaringly perfect drama, and I'd watch it too if I had the time. But for some reason it doesn't seem to hold me as a show I'd commit to, but when I do start watching an episode when I catch it it does keep me there. It helps that I think that Julian McMahon is IMO an absolutely amazing actor. Whenever I see him in a role he's so perfect at it and I like the guy a lot. Only problem is I've never been a huge fan of any of the shows he's been in. I definitely give him props for actually making charmed rather interesting for awhile, but that on crack show's writer team f'ed things up real quick and hi character stop making sense, and I stopped wathing the show (that he actually got me to watch regularly for awhile).
The O.C. - This show tends to keep me there like Nip/Tuck when I see it, but I never was able to watch it regularly for the reasons I don't Nip/Tuck and that it happened to be on Wendsdays (angel/smallville night). I'd say the O.C. is like 90210 if god did the casting and writing. That's right, if the man himself did it right. It does feel like a dark secret to like something like that doesn't it? It's other bullcrap like 90210 and dawson's creek that make the genre and type of show evil...but the O.C. is rather deliciously evil.
