That's what you gotta do or else no one ever clicks on the buttons. Ever notice how all the sites on the very top of the list cheat to get up there. Some don't even let you into the website until you vote on like 5 different sites. I think this isn't too bad compared to some.

In australia its like a 50 dollar fine if you dont vote during election...

Oh and my stupid religon says "hey you cant salute the flag or vote or be a politician cause it defies god"
too bad If we have to vote between a duche and a turd... fine with me.. (lol south park)

Edit: But of course forcing people to vote for rom sites... that just sucks any way u look at it...

I personaly dont like the voting set up we have right now, but Chris is aware of this. I believe a message on the download page asking the person to vote for us after they've download is good enough.

I believe that no one bothers clicking on the vote buttons unless they are forced too.

I have another idea on how to deal with the votes let me try and explain it here:
- A similar idea to what this site is doing
- We would have "Vote 1", "Vote 2", "Vote 3", "Download" and each time you click it would enable the next button
- Vote button clicking would be stored in a cookie so that you would only click the buttons once per day
- More annoying for first file you download but then zero annoyance for any further files you download for that day

What do you think about that kind of system?

That's a whole lot better
It's retarded to vote for everytime you want to download.

Give it a shot. It might even increase our ratings on the topsites. If we're getting 4000 ppl visiting the site every day, maybe we'll get 500 ppl voting a day :D
