But they hit bottom when St. Anger came out, and that was that for many fans.

Funny thing, they do St. Anger really well live. I'm with you that the CD is just balls, but live it actually sounds really good.

Metallica sucks live these days. They at least kicked some ass until they lost Jason, and now they just have a desire to lick many balls instead of give an adequate live performance. I went to both their Sanitariums at the L.A. Colosseum and their indoor crap at the GW Forum. Sanitarium '99 was the only tolerable one. And now a movie? I'm not going to start on that, I'll puke blood everywhere. I say break up 'Tallica, you guys are far past your prime.

i love ythe old stuff mostly, st anger isnt a patch on the black album, has anyone heard the blackest album???? it's and industrial metal tribute to metallia! some songs are amazing others suck but i was high so i had to impulse buy <_<

Metallica appoligized for St. anger on fuse, it made me laugh very hard. My personal opinion on them is they went from ok there first few albums too crap. (fuse is what use to be muchmusic for the usa, america always gets fucked when it comes too tv.)
