I am curious to the kind folks out there as to their openmindedness and their views on Satanism. I happen to be one, and I'm wondering how many proverbial stakes and tomatoes will be launched in my direction due to the uttered blasphemy, or are we all a pack of atheists here?

I been raised a Christian and agree wholeheartedly with the bible. Meanwhile, I do not agree with 99% of the modern pastors and teachers of the bible. Even with you being a Satanist and I a Christian. I don't believe I am on my way to salvation any more then you and anytime soon.

Surprisingly, The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth are filled with common sense.

I wish all christians were as level headed as you man, my whole family is christian and forced me into it.... as soon as I realised I renounced it and became a buddhist a few years later, my opinion is that u can be any religion you want to, just make sure YOU want to be in that religion and don't be afraid to go against your families teachings if you don't agree with them.

I could give a shit less what religion anyone belongs to. I've got Christian friends, Athiest (like myself) friends, and a Muslim friend (she's a foreign exchange student from Nigeria). It' doesn't change who they are at all, and as long as they don't bring the topic up we don't bother to discuss it. It doesn't make a difference as long as people are tolerant of people with different beliefs.

I might have mentioned I'm a Jehovah's witness and I agree with most of the bible,

We are pretty much hated everywhere... But its worth it EVERLASTING LIFE ON EARTH WOOT!

I was seriously considering becoming a satanist what with the magic and the power and 'satan loves you' ...snigger..

Buts its too hard to believe such stuff, but thats only my opinon... Its ultimately up to what you believe in.

At school, I think I've been wrongfully labeled as an Anti-Christian. I'm not, but I guess people seem to think that because I criticize Christianity more than any of the other religions, not because I dislike it any more than any other religion, but because It's really the only think I'm exposed to on a daily basis. The majority of Christians in my community are the extremely conservative, believe or die type people. They think that just because the majority of people in these parts are Christian, that nothing should offend, or that they should be able to get away with anything.

One reason I bring up this point, is because for this first semester, I was in High School Choir. I enjoy singing. Anyways, for our "Winter" concert, every single song was filled with Christian propaganda. Now, rather than take this to the Higher-ups, I instead talked to the choral director to see if I could take part in some other activity and sit out on the concert, rather than be forced to sing about somthing I don't believe in. She wouldn't allow it and she said that everyone is going to sing it weather they like it or not. Now at the time, I believed that I was granted freedom from religion in my constitutional rights, but after searching lately it appears not. In many court cases of this sort, they seem to think that it's not promoting Christianity, but rather providing "cultural experiances" and such. I don't buy that one bit. Cultural experiances would be singing songs from all different religions (which I wouldn't have a problem with at all), this, on the other hand, was clearly the support of one religion over another in a GOVERNMENT OWNED INSTITUTION. This is one more point that goes to show that the US isn't perfect. We promise one thing, and mean another.

Edit: Recently I used a picture of a speculated Black Jesus in a post. I do not endorse Jesus as the Messiah or son of God, I only recognize him as a once living guy who believed in somthing different and wanted to fuck the Romans' shit up!
