i think you should only drink/smoke occasionally like I do. i havnet drank since xmas and smoked since thanksgiving. and shit, i'm doin hella good. too much weed makes you dumb and lazy, and too much booze makes you an asshole and a drunk.

and Sophie, I agree that most drugs wontl fuck you up in moderation, but ALL drugs will fuck you up if you do them too much, and I will continue to believe that no matter what anyone tells me.

For the record, when I say fuck you up, I dont necessarily mean mentally or physically.

I have been smoking weed for about 4 years, and Im sure it has fucked me up mentally at least slightly, but its the fact that I would rather smoke weed than do certain other things, that are much more productive.

I also blame weed for my poor college attendance, its 10x harder to get up in the morning if you have a smoke the night before.

Drinking moderately is good for the strength of the heart, and god-awful for both your brain and liver. Take your chances on that, go ahead and call it good for you if you want to believe it.

The fact is that anything you put in your body to force either the feeling of an emotion, or the lack thereof, will do bad things.

There is no drug that won't hurt you. There is no drug that won't cause problems. There is no drug that can't kill you. There is no drug that's good for you. And I do include medical drugs in that - they harm you, too, but sometimes that's the only way to help other things.

as far as i'm aware drinking 2 glasses of red wine a day is considered healthy for you. and the pros far outweight any cons. the anti-oxidant effect of the red wine helps remove free radicals from your system which can cause cancer and other nasty things. also something in the wine opens up your arteries allowing less restriction of blood to vital organs.
I personally have never heard of any studies on moderate drinking fucking a persons liver and brain. if that were true, why are there still europeans alive.

but then again, if you are a pussy you can always just go drink 5 cups of green tea a day. it'll have the same effect
