You must have a minimum of 10 posts to request a rom, otherwise you will be ignored!

Some Members Obviously Cannot Read... make sure you have at least 10 posts before you request a rom, otherwise you will be ignored and made fun of ;)

and also please leave the system name with your request...

Example: NHL 97 for Sega Genesis

Its that simple folks... Enjoy :)

I personally don't see how you can hold members with your attitudes... You showed how disrespectful you were to someone that wasn't even requesting a rom, he was requesting something, an addition to one... He only wanted a translation to it, I was the only one that helped him and it was clear that he had over 10 posts, not that it mattered for the rule isn't for rom translations.

Also, there's no rule stating: If you have 10 posts that aren't legitament, they don't count... So I would like to know where your logic is. Also, I stopped coming here because there's no point coming to a forum so rule struck, and so full of high placed members that can't tell the difference between a rom and a translation, also can't get their own rules straight and delete things that were deleted because the people/members of this community felt obligated to corrupt the posts by attacking/unprovoked flaming the member that requested what that member requested..

I also want you all the consider the possibility that people request things but they aren't the ONLY ones that might require that information in the future, it is incredibly stupid to delete a legit topic, just because members corrupted it and decided not to help the person. I did however help the person and that information I gave could have been used by more than just that one person... Therefore I think this board needs to re-think its own rules, and that the members should treat newbies with proper respect to further increase the registered members number.

wow that was a mouthful

no i have no idea what you are talking about for the people getting shafted for the 10 post rule. If someone asks nice and they dont have 10 posts, i think more than one person will look reguardless. But i remember that ass that just went in topics and wrote "cool" and "wow" for every post, i mean give me a break if you're going to be an ass then fuck why should i go out of my way to help?? remember it says 10 posts but that doesnt mean IF you get 10 posts someone is going to help you, although it is possible if you are under 10 posts someone will, by way of you not being an asshole.

as for the topics, i have noticed that they do dissapear, but they are not deleted. If you look at your post history you can see that you can still access all the topics you posted too, but for whatever reason they dont show up.

and i cant believe you are bitching about rules. I mean, there is barely a moderator around to enforce anything, so how could it be rule stingent?

Talk about spazing. First, if you look at the bottom of the page. You'll notice alittle thing that says "View five most recent topics" Then three little boxs. One that says, last post date, the other (decending order), then (view last posts in the last 30 days)
I suggest you click on the last one, then look at the little pop up menue that comes about. It'll give you an option the view every post made from the start of the year.
As for that translation request, the jackass spammed us. Why help, if you're going to spam us?

Wow before having a hissy fit maybe you should learn why the rule is there in the first place. Also I don't give a damn about your freedom of speech on MY website. If you want to post whatever you want to then make your own damn website. If you want to post on mine then you can follow my rules. Simple as that.

All-Rightey Goten, I'm going to refer you to my avatar, which kindly points out that nobody cares. That being said, every forum has an unwritten rule about spamming*. Spam=Bad Spammers=People we ban. People we ban we hope never return, and don't get helped along the way.
PickYourNose fucking spammed and got 10 posts....why ten? I want an answer here.
That asshat was a waste of bandwidth.

*Spamming includes, but is not limited to: Posting meaningless garbage, a canned meat product, and adding nothing to the topic with one word phrases such as kewl and cool.

who's being rule struck here? By this logic, if I hacked my posts up to 10, I'm supposed to get help with open arms? Fuck that shit.

and here with this cheap technicality. Someone tweak the rules to say any request, lest this little rule whore have another bitch-o-rama session.

I think good members would come here if everyone helped them.. Ive seen a few sites change for the better by getting rid of a post limit before requesting and things worked out.. Lots of people have lives and stuff to do and sometimes they cant post as much.. I mean if your new to roms and youve been looking for hours, then come to a site where people tell you to post 10 times and follow the rules. Its discourging posting 10 afterwards and not getting anything on top of it while getting made fun of or told off.. Thus losing a member that couldve been a great person.. Members have feelings and opinions.. Like Goten hes been here for a while and i can see that he wants to have a good time here as do i.. I know this is your site Chris and what you say goes.. I know that you like having members and people chatting.. I hope this place gets revamped and has great sucess because i know you want to have a great site.. You may be getting tierd of trying and have little time to do stuff.. I hope to see this place strong again some day...Nothing worth doing is easy..
