I thought about this when I was admin, but I don't think it would really work. There's really not very many people here. I trade a good bit at another forum, but it's a lot more busy.

Xengamers - http://forums.xengamers.com

You have to register to even see the board, by the way. But it's their Trading Post. They have a nice little system. Posting threads for wants/haves, people can reply and work out the details through PM's. If it's a success the two will notify the mod and he'll add feedback notes in the Good Traders list. I have like fifteen or something, and I don't think there's been one complaint about a trade from anyone there. Works pretty well I find, and isn't overly strict and uptight.

Trade/Sell forums are nice and all. But then you get the little shits who, after you send the stuff. Refuse to pay up, or pay with fake credit cards. Not to mention you also get assholes who think it fun, to send you something totally differante then what you and they agreed on was for sell. Like StarOcean: The Second Story, you get instead an burned CD filled with porn.

Sure, you can do just about whatever you'd like. We see a lot of games, consoles, computer equipment, the occasional camcorder or MP3 player, a bunch of stuff. I got my Cube there - great deal - I ended up paying about $90 and a few Xbox games for a Platinum one, a memory card and like four games.

And ironically, the only bad trade I've ever had was on a site dedicated to trading (TradeGamesNow.com). I like that Xengamers forum MUCH more.

I do remember a trading forum, was that here or your forum TMBG?

I saw a few trades happen there, but they were little things.

That's probably what you're thinking about TJ. I put one on my forum last year but it was never used. Confuzzled's probably saw some action.

I would REALLY like to see a trading forum. I think we all trust eachother enough to be trading/selling/buying amoungst our selves, and as for new members, they can always prove themselves.

Why waste time looking for the ISO's when you could get the games from me!.. But seriously I tend to suddenly have urgest to play different games at different times if I give one away and then want to play it that would suck...

That's why I only get rid of games I don't like, or am fairly sure I never want to play again.

Be that a bad purchase, a gift from grandma, a freebie, a contest prize...

They say, one person's junk is another's treasure. Or something like that. Just don't trade anything you'll miss.
