Hello all,

My name is Arianne and I'm 35 years old and I've had a lot of different types of computers and game-machines. At the moment I'm really into rediscovering all those fun games I've played many times, on Atari home-computers, consoles and, especially, the Lynx!

Such a shame, those kind of games never came out for the PC.

Well, if anyone can help me with any roms or other files, like Lynx-roms or atr/dxf disk images for my Atari XL/XE emu, you're very welcome.

I myself have a big number of games readily available for Atari 2600/NES/Sega Genesis and many many more. So if you're looking for that special ROM or an emulator? I might be able to help. Just drop me a line in mail or PM on the forum.

we dont usually get "older" people on the forum, especially females, but youre welcomed here....
i have a collection of over 21,000 roms, but i rarely play them, they're mostly from classic systems. Enjoy your stay here, and hopefully you?ll be here a while.

Jay cool! 21000! Any Lynx roms there maybe? I've tried downloading them from the site, but always get the "thief" message, allthough I start at the www.theroms.com root...

I'm especially interested in the Zarlor Mercenary Rom, but would love to have any of 'm...

And, er, allthough you don't play them often, are there any you'd like? I really don't know how much I have yet, but certainly a lot, and emu's and Bios-files too...

I'm not sure why users are getting the "thief" message... other ppl have had the same problem... chris has to look into that, I dont wanna leave my comp on 24/7 if its not working right.
I like RPG's, I played a few on SNES, if i had the time i would play those all day...

Many thanks for the warm welcome! Geez. Never thought so many people are into classic gaming and emulators... I thought I had quite a bit of rom files and emulators, but after browsing the forum, it seems there are a lot of you, who have a lot more I'd love to get my hands on.

Too bad I can't get any of the roms from the site, due to unexplainable "thief" messages, so I'm kinda hoping some of you can help me out. At least I have something to "trade" with, if you like.

I'm working on a list of emulators and rom-files I have, but this is quite a task and will become a constant work in progress I think.

To RAFakaSB: I've tried Zarlor mercenary, but it seems I made a booboo on my part... I've never seen this game before! Big fun though. I was actually trying to find Gates of Zendacon .oO(prolly wrongly spelled, but that was the one...)

It's about a guy who explores a planet... Lot's of green stuff and diamonds... Red are best.

Try too guess the name and maybe if you've never even heard of it, try to get it and play it. I've even tried to map out the complete levels. Had a lot of fun with that, when my Lynx was still working...

Yup, you're right to call me that. I play Sega games, NES, 2600, Atari XL/XE/ST, Amiga and Vectrex games, but nothing compelles me more than the Lynx games I played on the hand-held with so much pleasure!

But I do play all the other games as well... Love the Sega classic Sonic, in all it's versions, and Mario can't beat any other game in the genre. The first is the standard, and the rest are just worse-off copies.

What emulator are you using for the lynx?
