I want to know if it's easier to use than XP but I'ma go ahead a takes chris's word.
PC magazine says it's better\easier to use for networking but I HATE the idea of having to learn a new OS just to find out it's lame.

I want to try using a mac and linux.
I think the PC I'm going to build is going to have Linux and the next laptop be a mac.
But that isn't happening for a while so my XP pro works for me :D

The minimum requirements for it are way too high. You won't be able to run programs very well (assuming they are even compatible to begin with) because the operating system will be sucking all the resources.

The only thing you will gain from being an early adopter of Vista will be frustration.
