This might sound sad to a few of you, however I have a perfectly legit reason to do this - HITS HITS HITS -

I, Like a lot of people online currently see the potential of having a Harry Potter site online - I need people who are perhaps interested in the series or just interested in working on a site that has the potential to be huge to come forward.......

It will be a joint effort on everything - I will pay for all hosting, domains and cover any other costs we will encur,

well, i definitely know a lot about harry potter... just ask chris. haha. i'm not that good at making graphics or layouts or anything, but i can maintain a site really well. just check out my website (link in my profile).

Looks pretty good. I would suggest though that you try and make the three images on the header flow into one another so they look more uniform instead of three seperate pics.

Also, I'm guessing you have to read the books to understand that domain name because I have no idea what Hogs Mead News is

PS: On that image in the bottom left corner of the site is it really necessary to put "Copyright" on it? I think it would look much nicer without it and you can just put the copyright things in the text of the footer anyways./

Hogsmeade is the village that they get to go to in their 3rd year. I like it because it's got that lovely candy shop that I wish existed!

Might hold you to that, any ideas of any good news script were I can have images for each topic?

The script I am using for news, PHPNews (http://newsphp.sourceforge.net), lets you upload images for your posts. Also has Send to a Friend, Read Full Story, Hit Counters etc. Best of all it's Open Source

Depends on what forum script you are using. If you stick with phpBB then check out http://www.phpbbhacks.com/ although I would recommend choosing a different script. phpBB constantly has security issues, it just got to be too much of a hassle to keep updated especially if you are going to use mods.
