Tigers are cool animals. But, thats a pretty weak sounding name for an OS (besides Windows ME). Bahamut, Megatron or Harrison Ford would of been more awesome sounding.

They should start selling it with their systems the day it comes out. People that have a machine on order already are getting the OS upgrade for free when it comes out anyway.

I'll wait a little while until i get it....let some of the bugs get worked out first

Has anyone else noticed that he does a lot of cameo appearances in movies now.

Well Tiger has been released now and I got it a couple days ago. I love it!

Dashboard is a pretty cool feature. I don't have to have my Stickies, iTunes, iCal, WeatheDock, etc. all open on my desktop anymore. Saves lots of space.

Spotlight is the greatest. I love how fast it is. It's amazing. It searches the entire hdd almost instantly. I just did a search for "chris" and I couldn't even count to 2 before it came up with 131 results.

New Mail program seems the same as the old one to me, only difference I really notice is a new layout of all the buttons. I kinda liked the old layout better.

Safari RSS is pretty cool. I've switched back to Safari from Camino for the time being. It seems to load pages much faster then before and built in RSS is definately a great feature. No more checking news sites manually for me.

Haven't really used iChat AV because I have no one to try it with. I still use AdiumX for all my IM needs. Can't try out the new .Mac stuff because I don't have .Mac. Don't want to pay $99/yr for it. Haven't really had time to check out Quicktime 7 or Automator yet either.

One thing that looks really interesting is Smart Folders. Going to try those out next.

I know that 99.9% of you don't care or don't know what the hell I'm talking about but if you use Mac OS X then it's definately worth the upgrade price.

I split the price with my sister so it was a bit cheaper. Definately a great update though!

Now all I need is a mac to run it on...well and the actual program.
