Apparently so...

I know this is all over the news, but I thought I'd post it anyway since, well... whether ur Canadian, American, or English, you must have heard about the wonderful war in the Middle East (unless you live under a rock or an 8x6 hole 6 feet under. lol).

Anyway... yeah...

He looks like Santa... anyway, the Iraqi gov't is gonna get his ass to trial, and publically execute him, or that's my best guess. Either way, he's fucked.

what have they arested him for exactly, genocide is fair eniugh but if they execute him for having weapons of mass destruction then that is a breech of human rights since they havent found any.

Anywho i love how, since they could find him, they conveniently have forgotten bout osama bin laden. Lol, God Damn American and British Governments!

..... you don't listen to things much do you?

Saddam and his men admitted to having weapons of mass destruction on more than one account, and Osama is still on the top 5 wanted people list, they just don't cover it on the news anymore. All they would be able to say is "The hunt for Osama Bin Laden is still on, but no progress yet." Instead of saying that every day for years they're just not covering it anymore.

Genocide is fair enough?? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! Who cares about the "weapons of mass destruction" at this point? He killed close to 1 million innocent people. I dont think anyone is Iraq is concerned about his human right.

i mean fair enough if thats what he's on trial for. Of course i dont agree with genocide, sorry bad wording on my part.

If theyve addmitted to weapons of mass destruction why are we at war then? the point of going to war was because he refused to admit or hand over weapons

and thats what im saying bout Osama, they dont have it on the news anymore... coupla years ago it was blah blah we're the greatest and we're gonna get him. well have they? No. So they shut up about it cos theyll just look like fools.

And he hasnt killed close to one million people at all, not sure where you got that from :S

I totally disagree with what hes done (i mean im a member of amnesty international for christs sake!), but i believe if they try him for possesion of mass destruction when they havent found any then that is a bit fishy.

Human rights apply to everyone though and he should get a fair trial whether he deserves it or not.

And stoning brings you down to his level, no-one should die for their crime. The death penalty is pointless, inhumane and solves nothing, and would only makes a matyr in this case

War was because he wouldn't hand them over, not because he wouldn't admit to it. It'd just be dumb to be all "Give us the weapons or we'll beat you up," "No weapons here!" "Admit it!" "OK we have them!" "Good, you're off the hook."

He didn't kill them himself, but how many people were in the WTC when that happened? (I'm not saying it was a million, I have no clue. I'm just saying don't try to blast him on the number, he may have been exaggerating a little bit, but his point stands)It was a damn lot.

i totally agree with you that it was a damn lot and i was referring to saddam rather than Osama.

if he admitted to it then why were they UN reluctant? they war still hasnt been justified since theyve not found any. I could say i have six balls and a horse but id be llying, he mayve admitted to it im not sure but he could just have been doing it to strike fear. the point is we have no proof and we cant try him for possesion without truth.

i think they should put saddam on a tour bus and go to every country in the world and have everyone pay $5 to punch him in the face. so what if its inhumane i dont give a shit its what he deserves.

couldn't be spoken any truer.

And He did kill many people. They're just now uncovering mass graves, like the Holocaust. Now that he's out of power, they'll find them and not be killed for it.

Sadly enough, this is so true. The reason Bush is so happy about the troops capturing Saddam is, well...

he finally finished what his daddy didn't (even though he DID have the chance).
