how come only some songs are effected by this crappy noise or random silences in MP3's, it's really stupid cos people that d/load music aren't gonna be encouraged to buy music they can't d/load, it'll put them off the band entirley. It's just silly anyway record companies aren't loosing that much music still costs far too much.

But like I said before it makes most people get pissed off and just don't bother to d/load the music or buy the CD. It's just gonna piss people off, any way I'm a musician recording an album but I'll put all my shit in my shared folder as soon as it's done

People just keep downloading untill they get the right one, or eventually buy it.

Doesn't stop anyone from downloading all there doing is training us to be more persistant and keep downloading different versions of the same song.

The hell is dc++?
Rule of thumb when using kazaa, make sure the bogus music filters and crap are turned on.. I have YET to download a bogus song file.

Since Im on broadband, when I download songs, I do get them from kazaa but I always download at least 3 versions...doesnt always guarantee a good version tho.

For most of my films, games, porn etc. I use Overnet.

As for BT, I dont really seem to get the speeds on it, but I havent really used it that much yet.

Anyone know any sites for good BT link btw?

Well Kazaa is ok I guess it's just bastards who sold out to record comanies or actually are companies. I think there should be some way of blocking unreliable sources.....doubt it would happen though

Wow that whole "sold out" thing is the dumbest thing ever. First off, most of the bands who "sold out" have sounded like they do the whole time, they just got popular suddenly. Secondly, who really cares? It's wether or not you like the music, not if they've changed what they sound like. Don't worry about such dumb things :P.

LOL I don't really say bands sell out, they just change their style to something I don't like / completely different to their original style....it just sucks when they do.....

I wouldn't really say it's selling out, some bands change style...Metallica's St Anger for instance yet the band still have the old style, I saw them live in Leeds and they played most of the old stuff. It's just pisses me off when I buy a new album and it's a completely differen't style to the old one
