anyone else noticed of late how bad this engine has gotten? I try to do just a product search on it, and all i get is stupid sposored links or 100 straight pages of those stupid ad sites where every link you click leads you to the same site, that doesnt even have anything on the product you want ie: <a href='http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=office+furniture%2C+calgary&meta=' target='_blank'>SAD</a>

and if you type in ANYTHING on their search engine that might have some sexual conotation, you'll get hundreds of porn links??

well i am sick of it, first webcrawler started sucking (back in 96) then yahoo and excite blew the goat, now google sucks. I need a useful search engine.

Yeah google starting to blow. I'm searching for colleges in canada right now, and you know what they gave me after I specifically check that little thing to do an search in Canada only? A bunch of goddamn american colleges. Jeez..
Try altavista search engine it's been getting some acclaim recently.

I'm finding that all google seems to link to is another search engine that may or may not point me to the right direction.....MSN's search has been ok recently.....

This is true... Google really is beginning to suck ass as of recent.

I use msn too and ofr work things related I use yahoo or altavista, google really sucks

I too have noticed that google is starting to suck more balls then a 2 dollar whore. Is that blowsearch any good, because its too damn hard too look at.

I agree in theory but I don't think it causes that much of a problem? you kinda just scroll down a bit or narrow your search. I still think it is the best search engine around.

actually, it seems pretty damn good. It takes stuff from yahoo, google, and Teoma. It found TheRoms on the first try.

I think that if you actually use the advanced search features google is pretty useful. But then again, that takes time. Arent most canadian colleges *.ac.ca or so?

Meh, I'm just happy the new version of it is out, much cleaner looking
