I was pretty Furious over the whole thing.. Yet again it wasn't a talent based contest but a political fight! the fact that the absolutely worst song in the contest took home the title was a shock to me! - crap crap crap - Though Terry Wogans great!! he took the piss out of it start to finish!

lol, i actually quite liked xena! austria's song was terrible!!!! you're just pissed cos ireland's song was shite! ;) well i suppose hosting it for 3 years in a row does stretch the wallet so it's on purpose that you enter shit songs! lol! i know what you mean about it political but it's still funny when cyprus give greece 12 points and visa versa! lol! neway, i reckon that the only reason that england gives ireland good points is cos you all run across the border to vote for yourselves!!! lol!

Well as I live in the UK I reckon i'd be going for the UK song... people who actually live in Ireland can go for the irish one.. But Northern Ireland is a different country - and yes there song was crap - but we entered someone from Fame Academy!!

i though you were in actual ireland rather than northern ireland!

actaly while we're on the subject of ireland it really annoys me when american come up to you and say things like "OOhh why dont you British just let Ireland rule itself!" and they have absolutely no idea! (sorry to all americans but its happened to me like 6/7 timesa and it really annoys me!)

Fuck with'em then. When they walk up to you tellin you that. Just tell them something like this"Well, while we go tell ireland it free. Why not go thank france there for you're current freedom."

lol! yeah! it just annoys me when people try to pass judgement on summat that they really have no idea about. i mean i spend two years studying the troubles in Ireland and i still won't pass judgement or even fully decide on what my opinion is..............................but i know their song was shite :P

Were there troubles in Ireland

I apoligize, that was me in my foreign guise - Reality is noone outside the UK really does know what went on and what is going on -

I personally, do not care!!

But I will explain for the sake of it -

Basically the irish - Southern Irish are a tad annoyed about the tiny little bit of 'There' country that britain own - and britain called it. Northern Ireland (Fitting)

so the southern irish went to get this bit of land back but got resistance from the dole spongers in the north who knowing if rule went back to ireland they to (Like the irish) would have to work for a living! (God bless them) - so they started this little infamous war and aimlessly started blowing each other up which got them nowhere -

this is all I know - cos as i'm not a dole sponger I could care less if NI became part of Ireland tomorrow - and I would have to pay less tax :D

therefor it probably became a war of the working and the people that wanted to sleep:)

thats saying its about money at all? maybe they cared about the land
