I'm talking about how most jobs these days seem to require you to go out and drop 2,300 or less or more. On two years of college, just to say you got an diploma. When the fuck did this happen anyways? Like fuck me. I don't got 2 grand, let alone am I able to quailifie for any loans? WTF?!

Since when did I need college to pick up an GODDAMN PHONE! and help someone set up an email account, or to tell them there modem may actualy required ot be plugged in? Or for that matter to sit on my ass watching cameras as an secerity guard? Since when did that little law credit I took in highschool not good enough?
Jeez. does anyone else find it more and more disturbing, that common sometimes very low paying jobs require you to go out and get an college diploma now?

ive not seen much of that, but i know what your talking about. someone (something?) seems to think the problems in society are created by a lack of higher education, so they got a requirment for such :(

One of the reasons ur asked to be certified to do a lot of basic shit is because belive it or not, A LOT of people in this world are too fucking stupid to do just the easy stuff.

High school diploma almost means crap these days. Why I'm still going for mine I dunno...

Oh yeah, I forgot... cause they expect it of you because it's "socially acceptable" in the international community (I.E. high standards on the little people to make the few in power look good). Cheap bastards...

Anyway, yeah... fucked up. I personally would look into just going straight into a vocational school myself (and I might even do so).

what about dropping out of society? I mean, why go through the meaningless motions at all? all through high school I was told how important the shitty diploma was and my parents kept me from getting a ged. You know, a ged is better than four years of shit. maybe college will turn out to be four years of shit too.

lol. I have a GED.

I think another reason I decided in the first place to continue w/my HSD is cause if I didn't, I'd get kicked out of the house. lol

I sooooo wanted to get my GED. I fucking hated highschool. Espicalyl the one I went to. It best described like an home school most. They basicly broke down teh credits into 20 lesson plans, made of four units. 1-5,6-10 extra. It the place where all the drop outs, and trouble makers went. Not to mention the drug dealer ratio in that school was like 2 for every 6 students. out of an population of 80 students. Great times.

Didn't teach me jack shit. Now I gotta go to college and get my GAS so if I get good marks, I can go onto university, or maybe get an bachourls in something small? That IF the college I apply for will accept my crap spactulour 60-70 average?

lol. Don't worry.

I'm just glad I don't have to take HS in Japan.

I'd be the blacksheep of society. lol

Anyway, yet another reason for independent study was the fact I will absolutely NOT go back to my old high school. That place was pure and udderly intolerable crap.

you COULD still be succesful without college but it is a VERY much slimmer possiblity now a days. I don;t even understand why you're surprised, as technology advnaces and mroe people go through "higher learning" that's who the employers hire, and now a days even people with college degrees are clerks at best buy.
