In response to her music being "Corporate garbage"... why don't you do a little research before you hand it off. Ever hear of Butch Walker? if you don't live in Atlanta, and aren't in the music business... you probably haven't. Butch walker co-wrote and produced a lot of Avril's music... with AVRIL... not with exec's. and Butch walker is one of the most REAL musicians out there... he writes music because he likes to, not because it's his bread and butter. Trust me, i've met the guy, and talked to him... he's the farthest thing from a "corporate" musician i've ever seen.

She looks just like an ordinary (no offense) white, wannabe punk girl (I've seen a few around here). Her body doesn't really have any remarkable features (besides the original boobs as in non-implant, which is nice). I wonder if the baggy clothes are actually covering up what she doesn't have rather then what she's got. Christina and Britney are going skimpier and skimpier nowadays. If she tried it (which seems like the trend) could she compete?

I'm not gonna argue this, but point taken Nataku. If someone really likes the music, then sure, listen to it... but not for the sake of it being popular or anything. That goes the same for not listening to something because they ARE popular. Frankly, I think both are just as bad.

So why do I not listen to Avril? Meh... just don't care for her music.

As for my remark about her being "corporate trash"... I guess it's just me, but she just seems so manufactured. Oh well, I guess the problem really here isn't a question of whether or not they're talented or not, but just how so many musicians that are rather good become puppets of the RIAA and the like.

In the end a packaged sellout. I tried to watch her video's and for the awful music find a average girl who tries to rip a form of music off.
