Wasn't Dusk Till Dawn directed by that Rodriguez guy and Tarantino just acted and helped with the script? The movie wasn't that great, it just had it's moments.

Dusk till dawn was co-written by tarrentino... but not directerd by him. Pulp fiction, kill bill, and Resevoir dogs were all written directed by QT. I think jackie brown was written by someone else. He also did a portion of the movie Four Rooms, With Tim roth (mister orange& the restaurant hold-up guy in PF)
