Why is it when I go for a night out in Edinburgh, I can get a round in for less than £10.. - It's like £1.50 a drink* in some clubs, some even do specials for 50P.. but in Belfast. One round will cost me £60+ £6.50 a drink* (average)

what is the average price for a drink were you live, needs to be city prices as town prices will always be average - i'm on the lookout to find the uk's cheapest vokda and coke!!!!!

local pub to me charges something like £2 for a vodka and coke. and while i was in leicester looking around uni were leaflets given out for some event tonight that has all drinks £1.25.

Vodka and coke dont have a fucking clue, but a beer its 2american buck for a bottle in a billiard and in some club its 2.75 for a bottle with the ocassional 2x1, its too much from my point of view...

well they're making it in Notts that you cant have cheap alcoholic drinks under £2 i think it is cos everyone binge drinks and we have problems at kick out time.

Cheapest ive ever got a double voddy and coke was about £3 most expensive £6

but generally i get drinks bought for me so im not too worried

Cost me last time I went to the bar. $3 bucks for an half an pint. So stop yeah belly aching. Booze is suprisinly cheap where yeah live once you conver to canadian. Yeah goverment doesn't slap 15% tax on it top of another 30% of what we've dubbed SIN taxes cause drinking is unhealthy

Well predrinking here is a must too cause since we live so fucking close to the USA they come with their dollars here and bar owners crank up the prices, but other than that billiards and some pubs are pretty damn accesible

The prices here where I live are pretty ok, well we even have a strategy now when me and my friends are going out. There is this club called "Old Daddy" it pretty much rox. So we pay 3 Euros to get in and theres free B33R for 2hours. So we drink as much as we can. Then when we had enough we go to the "Pulp" And theres where the real party happens...

But as Raf said, Pre-drinking helped us poor fellows often out...
