Idealy I would like to send out a mass email to all registered members once the new forum is launched but I don't think the host would like if I sent out thousands of emails at once. I belive there rule is a max of 200 an hour or something.

that would be a great idea, you could just send out 200 emails a day, to be on the safe side

Does anyone know of maybe a 3rd party site that will send out mass emails for you?

Copy and paste a list of thousands of emails and a message and then they can put their ads on it or whatever and send it out for you.

the city of edmonton uses http://www.industrymailout.com/create.aspx but I dont believe its free
