I take it you're not too well aware of how our system works? First off, individual votes really don't matter very much here, because the president is elected by an electoral college; nothing to do with popular vote. Second, the reason I'm not voting is that I have looked at both candidates very closely, and their ideas are practically the same. I don't like Bush because he's just not my kind of guy, I don't like Kerry because his wife scares me. So, whoever wins wins, and no difference is made to me. That's why I'm not voting. Not laziness.

I fuckin hate it when parents teach their fucking kids that one of the candiates is bad... thats just really fuckin dumb. There was this little kid who was all like, "Jwon Kewwy is a bad man who wants to do bad things" and I asked him, "What kind of bad things?" and the little fuckface replied, "He wants to be pwesident and then do bad things"... I just about punched the fucker's parents in the face... (and no... I dont like Jwon Kewwy or John Kerry or Bush... they're both douchebags!)

Lamp, by not voting, you're letting Bush win. Vote for Kerry, because HE'S NOT George Bush.

And Ness, dont hit the parents. Recommend them for euthanasia. And then throw the kid in a blender.

Lamperus has a point. The electoral college is what defines who wins.

Also, if you wanna be harsh about it, your vote really doesn't count too much unless you live in a swing state. I live in CA, so if you know anything about that state, you know how I feel.

Reguardless, I will still vote... but probably not for Kerry, and definitely not Bush.

Hound, you strike me as one of those Dicks who's purely based on the party and not the candidate. I'm sure as hell not going to put in a vote for someone just because they aren't Bush. If I'm voting, it's going to be a vote FOR someone. I have my doubts as to if you even know what's going on with the candidates . . . This is why people should have to take a test to vote, just to show they've been paying attention. Are you just a hardcore democrat? I'm independant, myself.

Hardcore Democrat, and I hate Bush. So, I'm going to vote for anyone but him. No, I can't vote yet anyway, nor do I care to. I'm saying whatever I want purely for my own enjoyment. So, don't take me seriously.

Just making sure you don't have some odd idea that you're making a logical argument for Kerry. ^^; Which you don't, so it's all good.

back to the actual topic... I STILL haven't been paid the money I'm owed and now for a second kick in the balls my application to claim unemployment benifits (welfare cheque) has been delayed (meaning I have no money until they decide if I'm entitled)..... just because for this job I had to be self employed..... for fucks sake I hate my government.

We don't actually have only two parties, but in essence, since no one ever votes for any other party except the 2 main ones, 3rd party candidates really only get about as far as city councils and stuff, if that.

Sadly, I go to another forum full of 3rd party supporters.

Also, I can agree w/parties to a certain extent, as everyone candidate needs some sort of categorization to found their priciples on, but thats really about as far as I'd go w/it.

Remember, vote for the man, not the party. Oh, and vote for who you want in, not who you want out.

And as for you Nataku... seriously, do something about those checks and shit. Rheem them of all their worth if you must. Just get what's owed to you.

Oh, and congrats on your new job

gotta get this outta my system, since this is in the flaming section:

FUCK YOU ALL! I HATE EVERY SINGL LAST FUCKING ONE OF YOU!

but not really. Freedom of speech getting to my head, eh.

Yeah, I'm in the same damned boat as far as the unemployment goes... gotta wait 4-5 weeks to see if i'm even going to get any checks... at the same time i still have to file every week "Just in case".. it's a buncha bullshit.

And polotics... god damn i have to much to say. I'll cap myself off by only saying a couple things. Initially, i was goint to vote for Anyone But Bush (ABB) but then i realized how scory it would be if i just paid no attention, and ended up getting someone worse than bush (Improbable, but not impossible)
So i listened to what Kerry had to say. And i actually liked it. And I live in North Carolina, so i'm a bit more familiar with Edwards than most. And the dem's plan on having him in the white house for 16 years if they can.
So i am voting for Kerry instead of ABB, although it boils down to the same thing.
And sadly, for our out of America friends... yes, we have a two party system. As much as we try and get more in, our choices comes out to "it's going to be one of these guys, even though there's all these better guys on the ballot. (we really should give nader a chance. he's definitely one of the good guys.)
And it sucks. I wish we had 5. or 10. But most of the time (election 2000) it's a choice between John Jackson ("I wouldn't think about it!";) and Jack Johnson ("It's unthinkable!";). I'll quit my bitchin tho. Keep on rockin!
