Sega Saturn - SSF Sound Question

I'm running SSF V0.07 and I've loaded the American Bios (Version 1.01). I download the Sega Saturn version of Daytona USA and I've mounted the ISO to a virtual drive and it's running great. My only problem is there's no sound.

I have several audio files and a .cue file (daytona.cue). How do I configure this with the virtual drive or in the emulator itself to run the sound as well as the graphics?

Hmmm. What was the MB on that download (what is the ISOs' size)? Sometimes to save space most downloadable CD games will omit the music and just give you the game. Odds are on a Saturn and most any CD game the Music is the largest files and the game is a fairly small fraction of the disc.

Other than that. Mounting the Image and not the .cue sheet on a virtual drive will funk it up.

Update:

Found the answer on another forum. Here's the info for anyone having the same problem:

Quote:
You need to convert the MP3's to WAV files. You can find decent conversion programs all over the place. After you convert them to WAV's, use Sega Cue Maker and make a Cue file for your game. Then load the CUE into your virtual drive, and presto! You have sound with your Saturn games And yes, you will need the new CUE sheet I'll post the Sega Cue Maker, just place it in the same folder as your ISO, just make sure you convert the MP3's to WAV's first, or it won't work

Are you kidding? It was my second favorite console next to the original NES! :)

I played it once in a store, but that's it.

Personally, I felt all of the Sega arcade ports were the most accurate on the Saturn as opposed to their PlayStation counter part.

I sold mine as soon as they had the CD+Cartridge games. At least the N64 expansion pack powered games you'd actually want to play.

Are you sure your not talking about the Sega CD?

No. I was thinking of the Sega Saturn when they introduced the RAM expansion...http://www.segagagadomain.com/hardware-sat/sat-4mbcartridge.htm This took me out of the system and it's emulators.

Hardware with a cripple you have to pay to correct, is always a bad idea.

I like the progress in the satourne emu though (daytona and nights is the only games I enjoyed on the system).
