I'm just wondering if anyone has a problem emulating certain N64 games with PJ64? Some work fine such as Mario 64, Zelda 64 and a few others, but some have really annoying slow-downs, and they're all for apparently no reason! Zelda MM is a pain for it and both the Catlevania's won't play beyond 45fps!!! This also seems to have nothing to do with the processor cos I upgraded mine from a 450 to a 1.3 with little effect. Is it my GF2 MX 400 showing my age??? Or is it something else to do with the emulator????? Help Me PLEASE!!!!!

That would be one of the questions I would have to ask you carts, but I think that both your processor and your graphics card could be holding it back. Even though the games dont look that great, they seem to be a bitch to run.

I mean having a duron isnt going to help in anyway, it is a 1.3, but a 200fsb is a tad low.

That does remind me though Ill have to try running goldeneye again, I havent tried it since I got my updated system running.

Suppose so, I have 256 PC100 SDRAM and my processors a Duron, but I don't care cos I'm getting a ATI Radeon 9800/pro or XT for £40!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then all I need is a new m/board processor and ram!

You should really try those ROMs on a different emulator first, i suggest 1964 (like always) as it can give suprising results. Just remember to set the Jabo's Direct plugins too.

Following that with an N-rage controller plugin and Logitech Wingman would seal the deal.

It used to be Banjo-Kazooie round' the clock.

Well another cool thing is if you can buy an adaptoid then you can use your old N64 controllers with your emulator. It's the closest thing to the real thing then.

Or you can just take some wire cutters, get an usb end. And snip the offending end off yeah N64 controler, and wire it up to the usb end yeah got.

Only problem is that it won't work with the 'Adaptoid' plugin. Which some of you may have noticed. The Adaptiod plugin is designed to work with the Adaptoid (the converter device) to fully emulate the controller.

By USBing it you won't be able to recreate even with NRage the actual Controller.
