no it isn#t NTSC is the format of 60Hz used in the US, Canada, ect. PAL is theformat of 50Hz used in the UK and most of the world so I was meaning all US and UK games...... I have just over 900 NES roms I just wanted to know how far off I am....

He's right, Nat. NTSC is used here in the US, Canada, and a few other places including Japan. That's why you can import games and as long as your system reads it, it'll play.

By the way, why is it that the rest of the world has to suffer through a lousy 50 blurry mhz?

:D Joy..... also in repsonce to Lamp I have no fucking idea why the rest of the world uses 50hz.... seeming as most TVs can do 60 now..... the only thing I can think of is that the US mains voltage is 110V running at 60hz and the UK mains is 240 running at 50hz so it might have something to do with that...... but it looks like most TVs will be running at 100hz anyway soonish......

Well for starters Cowering's GoodNes 2.01 tool has an impressive rom list. It can be downloaded <a href='http://www.emuxhaven.net/cowering.shtml' target='_blank'>here</a>.

<edit>Nataku, if you open the "nes_201_single_folder" (in the goodnes folder) you can get quite a list of [U] and [E] roms.</edit>

It's nice to know you have them all. . . I have all GBx, all SNES, and all NES, for example. . . (that is, all roms in all languages, from all countries) and I don't even play them. - -;

I used to religiously emulate Dr. Mario [nes] regularly for a 2 player challenge.

Sadly, having money to buy the newest next-gen games ruins the old school experience sometimes...almost all the time.
