I downloaded one of the roms, and it is stated to be an unknown application. Could someone tell me what program I need to run an NES emulation and where I could get it?? Thanks a lot.

You need an emulator. Check out <a href='http://www.zophar.net' target='_blank'>http://www.zophar.net</a> they have a comprehensive list of all the emulators you need.

You could also try www.theoldcomputer.com which I found to be really neat and there is a lot there I never found anywhere else. Including Bios-roms.
