Has anybody else downloaded this rom? Every version I get boots up to a "Gameboy Advance Player" intro, then says "your save data is corrupted" and wont go past there. Anyway to get past this?

Also, does anybody know if theres a way to get the extra e-reader levels onto the rom? I wanna play those like nothin else.

Are you an idiot? It's an emulator problem you dipshit, not a ROM problem.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Get the latest version of .Visual Boy Advance

2. When you open up your Super Mario 4 ROM for GBA change the settings to:

Menu -> Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash

You'll have to change this back everytime you play another ROM but that is the practical solution to the problem. You could also make a VBA Over file to do it for you automatically but that's easily beyond most of yours comprehension.

As always You're displaying brilliance Hypr.

I think you should consider jobs such as selling your organs for fast cash or giving head to old rich guys or something Tetsuo....you won't get anything better, I can assure you that.

Hey i'm trying to help people out. I'm beginning to realise why there aren't many helpful members here, namely because by helping out someone, all you get is flamed. You seriously should leave this forum, as your no more than an asset here than i may be.

Also, i already know how forum functions work thank you, and only moderators/admins on most sites should be able to see other people's IPs. Even so, if you manage to obtain my IP by some means then i would have already have changed it.

Seeing as the only way you can flame people is through crude use of swear words, i'd look at you and think that you suck. Which is totally the case.

BTW, this is the Emulation Section, not the flame section so don't bring yourself into something that your not already part of.

Somebody merely asked for help, and your very first sentence in responce was an insult ... you consider that helpful?

Well he still was very helpful, i've had that problem for quite a while, and hey, he fixed it. And i never had to ask him.

(well actually i've already heard of this problem, it's extremely common)

He simply wants attention, so just ignore him if he posts again.

I've got a question for you ...

... I believe I'll save it for a PM though. But, in response to the post, it was helpful, but when somebody asks a question, there's no need to assume that they're stupid. If they knew much about the topic, they wouldn't need to ask in the first place, and that's a big block in some people ever learning things. I mean think about it:

Kid - "Mommy, where do babies come from?"
Mom - "Are you an idiot!? It's OBVIOUS to anyone. Anyone who's not stupid, that is."

See what I'm saying?

Yeah i agree, the flaming was bad, but it still helped solve the problem.

Also i was also thinking that he was flaming Tetsuo, though i'm not sure. Newayz, yeah he shouldn't have been flaming anyone.
