I personally use McAfee On Demand Scanner 8...very good anti-virus.

im getting a dell inspiron6000 notebook and I want to keep my shit clean.
The anti-spyware that I bought (and you guys bitched @ me about for paying :P ) for is mcafee.
This PC has nortan antivirus 2002 but I'm defintally buying the mcafee 2005 when my pc comes.
I keep telling mom to update but she never listens to me...sigh...

AVG is free and works nice. You could always get those specific virus tools at symantec.

Avast is better than AVG man, for one thing you can scan individual files for viruses, also all the people I know who've used it haven't had any problems with viruses and it updates very frequently (more than norton or macafee ever did for me lol)

I'm trying out Avast on my computer now. Seems to be working alright although the UI is a bit weird to say the least.

no probs mate, I've been using it since october last year I think and I've not had any virus problems (although don't forget to register it or it runs out after 59 days!!! registration is free they just wanna know your name and email so companies don't use it!!)
