your ISP usually has newsgroups, look it up on their site or call them. For Adelphia here, the NNTP server address is just "nntp" and you log on with your Adelphia user name. You can get external newsgroups, but you have to pay.

yeah you dont need to goto any website to download anything

all you need to do is find out if your ISP hosts newsgroups, then you just have to find the server, and enter it into the server part in newsbin.

once you have that, you can search all the newsgroups. Probably the easiest wat to find what you want is to goto a site that lets you search for titles or types such as movies.

i dont have a site for you at the moment though because my computer with the link is in another city.

your isps newsgroup server is newsbin?? that is strange.

yeah for downloading movies and junk, you have to download all the parts, because in a newsgroup, there is a maximum amount of lines that a post can have, and so when it exceeds that it needs t be split up. Thats why movies are split up, because the max lines comes out to around 16mb. so you have to download all the zipped files for a movie, and just run the winzip or whatever. Sometimes there is an incomplete piece or a missing file needed to unzip, and thats what the PAR files are for. They repair the files and replace any missing or corrupt information.

i like DC++, but you need to be willing to share on there, and have plenty of stuff to share (in excess of 10gb, the more the better).
