There's a new worm floating around MSN that automaticly executes itself and disables the right-click button and taskmgr.exe and cmd.exe. The most common files are called webcam.pif, Me_2005.pif, LOL.exe(or .pif... looked like .exe) and sister.pif... Everyone, don't be a retard like most of the people on my MSN and don't accept these files! They're spreading like the clap!

I've got a question. What kind of files are .pif anyway? are they like .exe files? Also, if anyone knows any ways to remove these post them here... I could get rid of this on people's computers (And maybe make some money by charging them  )

EDIT: New file found... Naked_drunk.pif

I think a .pif is a kind of DOS file.

There will always be users who don't know shit and spread those things.

. . . to the shop? Please tell me you're joking? All they ever do at a shop, even a good one, is overcharge you for a simple backup and reinstall. . .

Are you serious? Fuck that. You shoulda updated your virus program and scanned that shit.

Then, Spybotted and Adawared your system and looked up a fix on symantec.com for a worm killer (that you specifically named above  ) .

You could of fixed it and you would never be scared/paying of/for a worm.

There are shops that fix computers? I've never heard of one of those. Google always knows how to fix my problems.

Speaking of that, Masster . . . I had another post on this thread that's now gone. You clearly restored a backup.

Unless one of the other mods deleted your post... I haven't backed up the forums for probably at least 2 years.

Must be unless there was some kind of server rollback that I never heard about.

I did get an email about them moving the servers location or something along those lines maybe that's what caused it?
