for some crazy reason my Sony CDRW won't get detected by Nero...all it detects is the image creator....does anyone know why this is and if so is there any way to fix it cos the Sony burning software is wank

Personally I don't like Nero. I use CDRWin for bin/cue. CloneCD for copying. VCDEasy for movies.

Upgrade to Nero 6, I think 5.0.0.9 is too old for most cd-rw's

hmmm I didn;t really like Nero 6 but it's better than nothing. Chris can VCDEasy split movies into two so you can fit them onto two cds?

I use TMPGenc (I think those are the initials) for that it has a lot of really good options.

Nero crashes every time I try and use it to make a VCD, it doesn't like me very much.

that's why I got rid of it......I just hate the Sony CD writing program cos it's slow and takes the piss
