hey anyone know a good program for mixing beats and/or sound clips of wavs or junk together, instead of just something like wave studio?

I use adobe Audition and also otsdj is quite good

edit: wow that adobe one is expensive! thank god they have a trial version

Man i used to do some crazy ass mixing on my cpu along time ago!
I had badass beats going with clips from everything!

It is quite pricey.

We have a license in our studios. I don't need to pay for it :D It is the no1 software in the world for that kind of thing. Previously called Cool Edit Pro. I wouldn't use anything else!

Only buy it if you are serious about sound & music mixing. but it needs to be encorparated into a mixing desk.. our mixing desk cost over 1million pounds and it's still not great :D

yeah i'm just looking for something so that i can leak out any creative urges i have from time to time.

if you go on google and type in hammer head it'll give you a site for a software drum machine and it has a free sequencer on there too.... a good sequencer/mixer is Acid Pro and it's much less than reson or any of those type of programs... I personally use Cubase SX and Acid

I'd like to suggest FruityLoops, if you can get your hands on it, alot of pros (9th Wonder, if you've heard of him) produce all thier beats on it and stuff, you can get some cool drum kits and stuff off the net..
