Bah. While I was away doing the school ting, my sister appears to have replaced the keyboard. however, no matter what Ive done to tool around with it. It wont let me post commans, quotation marks, nore question marks plus the little slanty arrow thigns for web address, when I hold shift and push the question mark, or quotation marks I get an lovely little È for any of these commands.
How the hell can I go about fixing thisÉ

Hmmm. I'd try switching the keyboard region (the keyboard control panel one). The character you typed. Showed up when I was messing with an Asian one..





Did you ask if anything was spilled on the keyboard or checked for a virus?

I have. Interms of the keyboard region that the keyboard software has. I switched it from american english to canadian. Still an no go, Ive tried setting it back to its factory defaults, an no go. Only thing I havent tried is unistalling it, and reinstalling it since I cant find the proper disks.
Doubt it an virus, if it is meh. I dont know. Cant currently upgrade v-software due to stupidity in the family(it easier just to have the version we got with the comp, then try to teach them how to use an newer one properly. and no it wont upgrade, norton an bastard when it comes to upgrading prodects from 98), ran adware it removed other crap. The keyboard is brand new no more then three months .Old one judging by what happened, got busted due to something dropping. So I cant switch.

Bah, I just realized that hte old keyboard software was stilll isntalled.. I hate my family.*goes to unstall that crap to see if it sovles the problem*
