I'm trying to get my Thompson (or Alcatel as it's known elsewhere) speedtouch 330 USB ADSL modem to work with Mandrake.... I've followed countless guides to get it to work but none of them seem to be working, I've manually set up my connection using my ISP (wanadoo uk) pri and sec DNS server IPS (although I can't verifiy if they were right I was just found them on a site) and I've set up my VPI and VCI to 0 and 38 respecivly. I've also installed the latest drivers from the site and have installed the correct revision (4) but still no luck!!!! Also I know the modem is installed corectly because both lights are green and the ADSL light is constant as opposed to flashing, if anyone has any ideas I can try before having to shell out for a ADSL modem/router I REALLY can't afford it would be appreciated

Whyyy are you setting those things manually as opposed to DHCP'ing them? Mandrake's not bad with that ... unless it's old.
