Looks pretty good but then again it all depends on the price too. What's affordable?

It's $1,444, and I can't really just change parts Tet, but could I just buy the parts afterwards? And are those parts SUPER important..I know the video card is for playing games and such but whats the difference in the motherboards? Is it a huge difference between the two? And what kind of price am I looking at?

EDIT: Oh, and, how is the graphics card it comes with? Is it good enough to run fairly new games?

The video card is a budget card. It will run the newer games just on lower settings though and not as good FPS. Definately still playable but not as good as it should be. As for the mobo you will have to wait for Tet to reply :P

Oh, and by the way, I forgot to mention it also comes with a digital camera, printer and Microsoft Office XP...is it a good deal?

You will definitely want to go with at least a 9600pro if you wanna run today's game @ high detail @ 1024x768 a 9600xt is about $300 w. tax and that is the top end 9600x (where x is the model)

The mobo I suggested will give you better performance prolly about 5x more than the one that you listed. It doesn't really matter but it's up to you

The mobo is around $200 and yes you can. But you will have to do a reformat of your harddrive. So you can reload the drivers for everything so you get the most performance

I changed mobo on a windows XP machine and it reinstalled all the drivers for me, as long as the support CD installer is up to it there should be no need for a reformat, just a couple of restarts or so

If you want the most performance out of your computer, you will reformat. For example if you go from a VIA chipset to an Intel chipset. You don't want your old VIA inf drivers fighting for control with the Intel inf.
