yeah, my parents have set up some STUPID timer on my computer because they think i spend too much time on it. anyways, i need to get in on their account to "fix" the parental controls. like a ninja h34r:

so anybody who can give me any hints as to some program to find out the password or simply get in (free please) would have my eternal (or at least 15min) gratitude

can't you just reconnect as soon as the timer disconnects you? or it like an hour a day limit? or something.
would making a new account get round it?

You could try a program like modem booster that stops the 2 hour timeout on 56k cos if it stops the servers timeout then it might stop your parents timeout.....either that or reinstall AOL and reset everything like a ninja h34r: also you might be able to edit the settings file if it's saved locally but youd need to research how to do that cos I ain't sure
