Air Flow

This is just an basic question on how I can figure out the airflow in my case. Since I didn't make this computer(one day, I shall have the patients and time to make one) is of course store bought. My cicrulation at least from what I can judge, sucks because I've had to open up the case a few times to cool it down by placing an 15 inch fan infront of her. The intake fan is fairly big, and is on the back, the outtake is the power.

So these two fans are spaced apart roughly 4-5 inchs theres also an vent in the front of the case, and two smaller vents cut into the sides of the case. Later next week I will be adding another outtake fan to the bottom of the case near my video card. Would this create any dead zones(no air flow as it were)? I figure it shouldn't if I'm able to control the fans speeds, and put it to the lowest setting possiable, cause all I really want it to do is basicly suck away all the heat my card is producing.

Have you considered getting a seperate fan just for the video card?

heh. i built my baby, and its got arflow that cools everything. what i'd suggest is to get all the air to be pushed towards the back. that way the outtake fan in the top will remove the hot air. at least this is how mine works. just dont be one of those assbags who has 50 fans on his comp and none of them work because they all cancel eachother out.

That's what I'm concurernd will happen even with just this one out take fan(whenever it gets here). It's basicly goin in an expansion slot since that the type of fan it is, and since the intake is roughly 2 inchs above the area, and the outtake is at the top of the case. Well, I guess one way to find out if it's cancled out anything is to find the smell of burning plasict.
