I've been reading up on it, and since i figure I have like an 8mb video card and all, it might not hurt to badly to get into my bios and change it to use my on board ram. What exactly may I have to put down for value to make it raised to like 16mb?
For those who don't know what i'm trying to do, here a link to the site i'm getting some of the info from. but I haven't found anything other that usefull other then knowing that Pressing Delete does not bring up my bio screen. And to make sure I update my bios(which I can't for the life of me find on the manufactures website) and right down whatever vaule may already be there incase I fucks up.

Well if you actually find the setting in your bios (which may be a challenge within itself) you can change it in increments like 8mb - 16mb - 32mb - 64mb etc. you just pick one...thanks for posting the article, looks useful. :D

No problem :D And yah it a big time bitch to find. I can't find it, the closest thing I have found in my bios that has AGP in it was. AGP Read Buffer Depth 32qw(maxed already), AGP Buffer Space Available was 12 is now 24QW, AGP Request Queue Depth 16QW. The fuck is QW?. And that was with a bio's tweak utility... I think it cause my video card is intergrated into the mother board(stupid pos ibm) i swear. once I get 1,000 i'm building my computer. Here another article on it http://www.sharkyextreme.com/guides/hwGuid...cle.php/1463741 gives more detail.

On a side not, I found updated bios for my comp. But they wont let me make a flash disk. Everytime I let the program stat copying to a blank disket. It reaches 98% and gives me an disk read error... the hell?

Could this be used to make an 8X AGP work faster in a 4X AGP slot?

The aperture size is how much MB's you want alotted to your card. Most cards should have an aperture of 128mb. 128mb applies to 128mb and 64mb cards. 32mb cards should only be 32 or 64mb. Anything less than a 32mb card should go no higher than 32mb

I've left mine at 64 or 32 even though my cards a 64MB GF2, what does it actually do???? It doesn't make much of a difference if I change the size, I also only have 256 MB ram so what size would you suggest?

That's a nice computer dude, hopefully I'll be getting a 9800pro for £40 soon (I think it's about $60 US) :P But yeah I'm still not sure if it's worth getting new ram of a new m/borad that supports 8X AGP cos I know it'll slow down the Radeon
